ESTATE
GIVING
Someone
once shared
Do
you remember who first shared the Good News with you? Was it a
pastor, a Sunday school teacher, a parent, or maybe a friend? Or did
you learn about Jesus by reading the Bible or tuning in to a radio
or television program?
Somewhere . . . somehow . . . someone took to heart the words of
Jesus in Mark 16:15 to "preach the Good News to all creation."
Seventy-two years ago, the brotherhood of Trinity Lutheran Church in
Waterloo, Iowa, felt called to do the same. Through an act of faith,
they began what is known today as Christian Crusaders radio and
Internet ministry.
You are
sharing
Through your gifts and prayers, you are a partner with Christian
Crusaders and any other Christian ministry you support in spreading
the Gospel of Jesus Christ to thousands of people around the world.
Your financial support has made a difference to many!
You can
continue sharing
Perhaps you have been blessed with the financial means to live
comfortably during your lifetime. If so, where can your material
possessions do the most good when you no longer need them?
Of
course, most people want to make sure their family is well taken
care of. However, many also want to continue supporting the
charities and ministries that have been important to them during
their lifetime. Estate planning can help you do both! By including
Christian Crusaders organization in your will, you can:
-
Make a meaningful and lasting contribution to God's kingdom on
earth.
-
Help insure the ministry will remain strong, intact, and
responsive to God's will.
-
Provide yourself and your heirs with potential tax benefits.
The
Christian Crusaders ministry has been blessed with many gifts from
those who have believed strongly in our mission and have included this
ministry in their estate planning. Given through the estates of those
who felt led by the Holy Spirit to support this ministry, these
resources have made it possible for Christian Crusaders to continue
broadcasting biblical truth for these past seventy-plus years on the
radio and now worldwide on shortwave and the Internet.
If
you feel strongly in the mission of Christian Crusaders and would
like the work of this ministry to continue for many years to come,
you can help make this a reality in a number of ways. Some of these
ways are:
-
Bequest of a specific dollar amount
-
Bequest of a percentage of the estate
-
Charitable Remainder Trust
-
Existing Life Insurance Policy
-
New Life Insurance Policy
-
Payable on Death Accounts
-
IRA
-
Endowment Fund Gift
You
will want to visit with your tax professional or attorney as you make
decisions on what is best for you, your family, and the ministries you
wish to support.
